a couple of highlights in the meantime...

So!!! I have still not got around to posting my trip log, and I will, I will. In the meantime, I have a couple of teaser pics, but that's it, since I often do this at werk ahem and don't have all my photos here. There are no words to describe the dream that was our trip to South East Asia.

Angkor Wat
Siem Reap, Cambodia

Phnom Bokheng (sunset hill)

In front of Angkor Wat
They asked to be photographed with me. I wonder what it was about me that was so hilarious? They kept jumping into the frame while their friend took pictures. I guess I'm a bit stupid looking, but there were way worse subjects they could've reeled in.

Laem Phra Nang, Krabi, Thailand

Jeff, swimming by Tham Phra Nang Nai (Phra Nang Princess Cave)
hands down, the most beautiful beach I have ever seen in my life.

Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand

Jeff, me and our Mahout(elephant trainer) on Boonchoi,
a 42 year old elephant who lives at Nosey Parker's elephant camp. This camp has a very good reputation for its treatment of its elephants. There are several very unsrupulous camps that abuse the elephants and deprive them of proper water and shade. The Nosey Parker elephants clearly were luckier than that.
I think this might be the most memorable birthay I've ever had. Wait, might be? Pffft. No contest.

more to come.....
